About Sarah

Sarah Mayberry is the award winning, best selling author of more than 40 books. She has always known she wanted to be an author, picking up a love of romance novels from both her grandmothers. She has a bachelor of arts in writing, and worked in magazines and television before getting her first book published in 2004.

She lives by the bay in Melbourne, Australia, with her husband and a crazy red dog called Jack (short for Jackanapes). She loves reading, cooking, shopping for shoes, sewing and avoiding gardening.

When she’s not writing romance, Sarah works as a script writer and story consultant in the television and film industry. Her romantic feature film The Fabric of Christmas (aka A Cozy Christmas Quilt) was released in 2023. She has written over 100 hours of network television, co-created teen drama series Karaoke High, and is one half of the hit vertical drama writing team “Max Archer” .
